Bumpy Road Productions was founded in 2020 in Orangeville, Ontario by brothers Jake and Zack Thompson. We bring well-rounded experience and a knack for storytelling to this full-service video production company. Sharing a passion for comedy, nature, sports and music, we love creating our own original content - and we’ve found helping great companies tell their stories is just as rewarding.
Jake Thompson
I studied film at Cornell University, and have worked in the film industry since 2013. I cut my teeth working on the documentary series Canada in the Rough as a director of photography, writer and editor. I like to think trekking around the remote wilderness of Canada chasing after moose and caribou has prepared me for any challenges that could be faced during production.
Zack Thompson
I studied film at Rochester Institute of Technology, before joining Jake with Canada in the Rough in the same jack-of-all-trades filmmaking role. These experiences along with a drive to create unique and entertaining narratives now define Bumpy Road Productions. Grateful for what I get to do every day, and for this business I get to grow with my brother. Enjoying the ride, and always striving for our best production to be the next one.
